Your mission

Staybridge Suites The Hague – Parliament is an extended stay hotel with 101 suites. All rooms are equipped with a private kitchen and a (semi-)separate bedroom. Will you help us make our guests feel at home when they are away for a longer period of time? At the hotel you can park for free, and public transport stops either right across the street or around the corner. Enjoying your work and feeling part of a team are important to us—we go for it together!

What will you do as a Maintenance Technician(f/m/d)?
  • Always ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff
  • Carrying out routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving technical issues
  • Supporting repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
  • Monitoring and maintaining technical systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
  • Assisting external contractors when required
  • Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation

Your profile

  • Basic technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance)
  • Hands-on mentality and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments and situations

Job requirements

  • Previous experience in maintenance, technical services, or a similar role is preferred
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
