Your mission

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for building a strong, motivated team and running the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and breakfast service. You are always visible and bring energy to the floor, thrive in a hands-on environment, and ensure every guest has a great experience.
In this role, you keep service standards high, manage the team efficiently, and stay on top of financial performance, stock, and compliance.
You know how to connect with different personalities, motivate your team, ensure all employees feel important and get the best out of everyone.
You lead by example to create a welcoming, consistent, and high-quality dining experience for both hotel guests and walk-in visitors. At the same time, you focus on driving revenue, controlling costs, and building a well-performing, engaged team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor service quality and coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and other departments
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints confidently, professionally, and with a solution-focused mindset
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and coach team members
  • Stay up to date with trends, market developments, and contribute your own ideas
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations
  • Monitor daily performance (sales, covers), average spending, labor costs, KPIs)

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or food and beverage management role.
  • Experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced service setting.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Experience making efficient schedules and managing bar stock.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, health and safety requirements.
  • Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business, or similar is preferred
  • Food safety or hygiene certification may be required
Working Conditions
  • Flexible working hours between 30–38 hours per week (to be discussed)
  • Mainly evening shifts, with overall responsibility for breakfast, bar, and restaurant operations
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays
  • Active, hands-on role on the restaurant floor
