Your mission
ATTENTION! Hospitality star wanted as Maintenance Manager for Staybridge Suites The Hague – Parliament!
Staybridge Suites The Hague – Parliament is an extended stay hotel with 101 suites. All rooms are equipped with a private kitchen and a (semi-)separate bedroom. Will you help us make our guests feel at home when they are away for a longer period of time? At the hotel you can park for free, and public transport stops either right across the street or around the corner. Enjoying your work and feeling part of a team are important to us—we go for it together!

What will you do as a Maintenance Manager?
 You are responsible for everything related to maintenance and technical issues inside and outside the hotel. You are the go-to person for all technical and maintenance matters. This means you must be able to hold your own, set priorities, create maintenance schedules, and coordinate tasks. With your technical knowledge, it’s no problem for you to troubleshoot malfunctions and perform (simple) repairs on equipment, installations, facilities, plumbing, and lighting. One day you’ll be carrying out inspections and preventive maintenance on installations and the building, and the next day you’ll be busy coordinating various technical activities with both headquarters and external partners and suppliers. Because you are a true specialist who knows the trade well, you can perform the role of Maintenance Manager independently.

Your profile
Who are we looking for?!
 For this role, we are looking for a technically skilled person who knows their profession! Working independently is no issue for you. Flexibility in working days and hours is self-evident to you. We may also call on you at night or during weekends in case of a problem. You live in or around The Hague. You are good at planning and organizing and have strong command of both Dutch and English.
In addition, you have:
  • MBO (secondary vocational) working and thinking level and at least 3 years of experience in a relevant, comparable position;
  • Preferably, qualifications that meet the requirements of NEN 3140 at the level of installation manager;
  • Stress resistance, proactivity, collegiality, and hospitality;
  • Attention to quality and detail;
  • A sense of humour and enjoyment in your work;
  • Various trainings such as first aid/fire safety (BHV) and additional technical training where applicable.

Staybridge Suites The Hague – Parliament is een extended stay hotel met 101 Suites. Alle kamers zijn voorzien van een eigen keuken en een (semi) gescheiden slaapkamer. Help jij ons om onze gasten zich thuis te laten voelen wanneer ze voor langere tijd van huis zijn? Bij het hotel kun je gratis parkeren, openbaar vervoer stopt tegenover of om de hoek. Wat ga jij doen in de functie van Maintenance Manager?
Als Maintenance Manager is geen dag hetzelfde!
Je bent verantwoordelijk voor alles wat met onderhoud en techniek binnen en buiten het hotel te maken heeft. Jij bent het aanspreekpunt voor alles wat met techniek en onderhoud te maken heeft. Dit betekent dat jij wel je mannetje moet kunnen staan en dat je goed in staat bent om prioriteiten te stellen, onderhoudsplanningen te maken en zaken te coördineren. Met jouw technisch inzicht is het voor jou geen probleem om storingen op te lossen en (eenvoudige) reparaties uit te voeren aan apparatuur, installaties, voorzieningen, sanitair en verlichting. De ene dag ben je bezig met het uitvoeren van controles en het verrichten van preventief onderhoud aan de installaties en het gebouw en de andere dag druk met het afstemmen van diverse technische activiteiten met zowel het hoofdkantoor als externe relaties en leveranciers. Doordat je een echte specialist bent en je vak goed verstaat, kun jij de rol als Maintenance Manager uitstekend zelfstandig uitvoeren.
Heb je eerder een team geleid? Dan vind je het leuk om je kennis, inzichten en ervaring te delen zodat je Maintenance-collega ook kan groeien en zich kan ontwikkelen.

Wie zoeken we?!
 Voor deze functie zijn we op zoek naar een technisch persoon die zijn vak verstaat! Zelfstandig werken is voor jou geen enkel probleem. Het is voor jou zelfsprekend dat je flexibel bent in werkdagen en -tijden. Ook in de nacht en in de weekenden kunnen we jou bellen met een probleem. Je bent woonachtig in de omgeving van Den Haag. Je kunt goed plannen en organiseren en je beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal goed.
 
 Daarnaast beschik je over:
 - MBO werk- en denk niveau en minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een relevante vergelijkbare positie;
 
 - Het is een pré als je voldoet aan de eisen zoals weergegeven in de NEN 3140 op het niveau van installatieverantwoordelijke;
- Je bent stressbestendig en pro-actief, collegiaal en gastvrij
- Je hebt aandacht voor kwaliteit en detail
- Een gevoel voor humor en het hebben van plezier in het werk.
- Diverse trainingen zoals BHV en kennis verhogende trainingen op technisch vlak waar van toepassing.
