Your mission
In the position of Maintenance Manager, you will be the point of contact for everything related to technology and maintenance. This means that you can set priorities, draw up maintenance schedules, coordinate and carry out work.
With your technical insight, you will have no problem troubleshooting and performing (simple) repairs to equipment, room furnishings, sanitary facilities, and lighting. One day you will be busy performing checks and preventive maintenance, and the next day you will be busy coordinating various technical activities with both the head office and external relations and suppliers.
Your tasks:
You will be responsible for liaising with contractors and suppliers and, as such, for scheduling periodic maintenance and necessary inspections with them.
You will also be responsible for the following tasks:
- Planning and coordinating the necessary activities to keep the hotel compliant and carefully recording everything to meet all legal requirements
- Managing and developing your colleagues in the technical team
- Daily follow-up of technical problems and defects
- Drawing up the preventive maintenance plan
- Ordering parts needed for hotel maintenance
- Conducting safety rounds in the hotel and providing safety training for the hotel team
- Maintaining the H&S System online
- Implementing any changes in laws and regulations regarding installations and safety
